Religious Tattoo DesignI was helping my wife searching for henna designs online when I come across pictures of religious tattoo on the Internet. I dont know whether the tattooed guy worship god or the devil but Im sure I wouldnt want to mess up with him.

As I browse further on the topic of these religious ink into the flesh especially on Christian designs, it has started during the Crusades when European knights had small crosses tattooed on their arms so that they could be easily identified for Christian burials if they fell in the battle. While for 19th century sailors, the religious back piece designs were thought of as being helpful in avoiding harsh discipline. The theory being that the first mate would be more hesitant to severely flog an image of Jesus on a sailors back.
