This is a true amazing story of how a bartender became a big shot – Peter Belisi had no savings, instead he invested any extra money he can find to start his own company. It started out as a passion with neckties, and he never wore the same tie twice! He gained his clients from his acquaintances while engaged in elite bartending at Palm Beach.
Belisi stands for good living: great style, quality accessories and giving back to the community. I like that statement very much. Belisi helps the world by funding medical researches, seeking justice, and protect the environment.
I’ve seen the product catalog in belisi.com and I must say they look pretty good and the craftsmanship looks good.
As this is a relatively new brand, I don’t think it is already available in Malaysia. Even as an engineer I do need to wear ties at times. And I know who will appreciate the scarves and handbags they produce.
An inspirational story indeed, especially since I am very interested in making a move on my own business real soon.
