Nowadays I receive about 20 to 40 spams per day via the comment utility. I am not sure whether to be happy or to frown about that. In a way it shows that traffic is increasing on this site, but it’s quite tiring to review the spams one by one.
Perhaps it’s time to look for an additional plugin to help Akismet. I wish I have the time!

Maybe try Serendipity blog software - they have a lot of spam protections. Http://www.serendipity.com
Its been easy and very flexible for me, and I get no spam at all.

By the way the correct site is http://www.s9y.org/ not serendipity dot com as you mentioned. I almost thought your post was spam
